What Are Fluorescent DTF Transfers?
Fluorescent DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are heat-applied garment prints with premium fluorescent inks that deliver exceptionally bright, eye-catching colors vibrant in daylight and even more so under UV or blacklight. These transfers use water-based fluorescent inks and hot-melt adhesive powder, delivering the same soft hand-feel and durability as regular DTF.
Important: fluorescent inks are not glow-in-the-dark and require an external light source to achieve their vibrant appearance.
Works on cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics with 50+ wash durability. Applies at 330-340°F for 10-15 seconds using hot peel method. Fluorescent DTF arrives on gang sheets that you cut apart yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fluorescent DTF features premium fluorescent inks that produce exceptionally bright, eye-catching colors vibrant in daylight and even more vibrant under UV or blacklight environments.
Regular DTF has standard matte colors. Both use the same hot peel application method and deliver the same soft hand-feel and 50+ wash durability. Fluorescent is not glow-in-the-dark and requires an external light source to achieve its vibrant appearance.
Fluorescent colors create the most striking visual impact when used strategically to highlight key design elements, create contrast, or draw attention to specific details. Neon yellows, oranges, pinks, and greens show the fluorescent effect most prominently under daylight and UV lighting.
The best designs combine fluorescent accent colors with standard colors to create depth, balance, and maximum visual impact while maintaining design quality.
Pre-press your garment to remove moisture and wrinkles. Place transfer on fabric with image facing up and cover with Teflon sheet. Press at 330-340°F for 10-15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. Use instant/hot peel and remove the backing film immediately after pressing (unlike cold peel methods).
Adjust time by fabric type. Once fully cooled, your fluorescent design is ready to wear. Optional: re-press for 5-10 seconds to seal.
No. Fluorescent DTF transfers are not glow-in-the-dark. They produce their brightest appearance under natural daylight and become even more vibrant under UV or blacklight environments.
However, they require an external light source to achieve their eye-catching fluorescent appearance. For glow-in-the-dark effects, consider Glow DTF Transfers instead.
Yes. Apply them using the same hot peel method since both use instant peel application. Design your artwork with fluorescent elements strategically placed alongside standard colors to create contrast and visual impact.
Both transfers will have the same wash durability and can be on the same garment without issues. This combination approach often produces the most striking designs.
